I started photography in 2014. It began with a crappy Samsung branded DSLR that was hanging around at work. After that, I quickly fell in love with it, bought my camera, and started to learn everything I could, thanks to various online resources.
I tried many genres, and it became apparent that my preferred was landscapes. It opened me to the world. I started traveling even though I never did it before nor had plans for it. I switched from being a nerdy indoor programmer to a guy who likes to spend as much time as possible away from the screen. Photography did change my life for the better.
Since then, I'm still learning, because it's a never-ending process when you're passionate and want to stay relevant. And one way to learn even more is to teach. This website is a place where I can share my thoughts about landscape photography and travels. It's a way for me to give back to the community that made all this possible.
